Our Pastor, Bill Finley, graduated from Wake Forest University in 1987 with a B.A. in History and English with a Secondary Education Teaching Certificate. He spent nine years working with young people in a dynamic ministry to youth called Young Life. After teaching high school history for five years, he and his wife moved to South Hamilton, MA, where he completed his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1996. He served for four years as a youth pastor at North Shore Community Church, in Beverly Farms, MA. He has been the Pastor of Evergreen Community Church since its beginning in the summer of 1998.

More importantly, Pastor Bill has walked through personal failure and pain and has grown through brokenness, learning that God’s love and power are for imperfect people, like him. Through such times, God has given him a message that connects to everyday people who are still in process and seeking more for their lives. His two greatest passions are his marriage to his wife, Cindy, and his six children: Sara Maria, Grace, Adelyn, Josiah, Cameron, and Piper. They enjoy hiking, camping, swimming,throwing the football, shooting hoops, and hanging out together.
