At the heart of Evergreen rests the desire to experience the fullness of God in a deep,
intimate way. We long to be a house of prayer, and we crave the presence of the Risen Lord, through the Holy Spirit, in all we do. We are a praying people seeking
to stand in the gap for a hurting world. The Prayer Ministry Team welcomes anyone interested who has a heart for prayer. Our central vision is to bring God’s people
into a deeper relationship with Jesus, to help them understand His great passion for intimacy with us, and to bring all kinds of prayer requests to the throne on behalf

Sunday Morning Worship Service
Our Sunday morning worship service (every Sunday at 10:30am at The Covenant Lower School) places prayer at the center of all we do.
Whether we are calling on the Name of the Lord through songs of worship, laying hands on a family for healing or sending, or quietly listening for His voice,
we are called to a morning of being engaged and in love with the heart of God.

Evening of Prayer
Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30 you’ll find live worship and intercession in one of our member's home

Marketplace Prayer Meeting
Wednesdays 7:00am to 8:30am “The Business Of Prayer” ministry for Marketplace Christians is sponsoring a weekly prayer (and optional fasting)
time focusing on praying for God’s Kingdom Purposes in the Charlottesville Marketplace. Drop by for 15 minutes or stay the whole time and pray, read your Bible or
listen to /meditate on the IHOP (International House Of Prayer) web cast focusing on the worldwide Christian Marketplace Movement. The prayer meetings are currently
being held at 525 Meade Ave.

The Upper Room
Right here on this website, the Upper Room is a place for anyone living anywhere in the world to submit a prayer request; we will pray for you. Even locally,
whether an Evergreen attender or a member of another church body, we welcome prayer requests of all kinds. In Acts 1:14, the first church was
gathered in an upper room, waiting on the presence of God to be revealed. And after Pentecost, the believers continue to draw close to God, grow in unity,
mature in devotion to Christ, and address the needs of their fellowship and community in prayer.
